Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bluejacket). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 15-13 win over the Foyil Panthers on Friday. With that victory, the Chieftains brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Colton Cochran made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
