Uvalde is a perfect 10-0 against Poteet since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) will host the Aggies at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Uvalde has three straight wins, Poteet has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Uvalde's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Hondo. Uvalde's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Poteet's offense. They lost 8-0 to Floresville on Tuesday.

Poteet's loss dropped their record down to 0-13-2. As for Uvalde, the victory got them back to even at 9-9-1.
