Soccer Game Preview: Heritage vs. Lakeside

Heritage hasn't had much luck against Lakeside recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Patriots will challenge the Lancers at 5:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for Heritage after they put the first goal on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Canyon Springs by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Heritage couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Lakeside earned a 3-1 victory over Rancho Verde on Wednesday.

Jesse Paz and Luis Escalante scored all three of the Lancers' goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Lakeside's win bumped their record up to 4-7-2. As for Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1.
