Soccer Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Perry was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lowndes Vikings by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Panthers couldn't quite close it out.

Perry now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lowndes, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Perry will challenge Academy for Classical Education at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lowndes, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Veterans at 3:30 p.m. Lowndes is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.
