Scott's Branch took a 39-point defeat the last time they faced off against Manning, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 40-38 victory over the Monarchs on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
