Crestview had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They won by a set and slipped past the Paulding Panthers 3-2. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Crestview had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 13-25, 25-15, 25-16, 15-12.

Paulding's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Addi Pease, who had ten digs and two aces, and Karli Breedlove, who had ten kills and six digs.

Paulding's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Crestview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against New Bremen on the 21st. As for Paulding, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Pettisville on the 21st.
