 It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Platte Valley Broncos can now relate to. They ended up on the wrong side of a  tough 65-39 walloping at the hands of the Huskies on Tuesday. Platte Valley's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Platte Valley lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Lauryn Uyemura, who  scored nine points along with three  steals. Uyemura hasn't dropped below three  steals for four straight games.
 Highland's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Mary Jones, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and ten  rebounds. Jones is crushing the  steal category: she's  posted at least two every time she's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Briza Flores, who  scored 13 points along with seven  rebounds and five  assists.
 Platte Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Highland, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 15-6 record  this season.
 Platte Valley will take on Timnath at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Hopefully Timnath focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will face off against Strasburg at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Highland has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
