Softball Recap: Chandler Victorious

Chandler won the last time they faced Gilbert and things went their way on Saturday too. The Chandler Wolves came out on top against the Gilbert Tigers by a score of 12-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Isabelle Ashike Osorio was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Lily Kolsrud was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Cian Noli was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Chandler hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most two strikeouts in three consecutive matchups.

Chandler's record now sits at 4-2. As for Gilbert, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Chandler wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-2 win against Williams Field on the 1st. As for Gilbert, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-3 loss against Sunnyside on the 3rd.
