Football Recap: Castleberry Lions vs. South Hills Scorpions
Castleberry never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the South Hills Scorpions, posting a 45-0 win at home.
Isaiah Ford went supernova for Castleberry, rushing for 226 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Ford's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Demetrius Valadez, who rushed for 79 yards on only six carries.
The victory got Castleberry back to even at 1-1. As for South Hills, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.
Castleberry will head out to take on Bridgeport at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Hills, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Trimble Tech at 7:30 p.m.
