            Softball Preview: Panguitch Bobcats vs. Millard Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Panguitch is 0-7 against Millard since May of 2018 but things could change  on Wednesday. The Panguitch Bobcats will challenge the Millard Eagles at 3:30  p.m. Millard took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Panguitch, who comes in off a win.
Panguitch's tournament run continued when they took on GV Christian  on Saturday. Panguitch put the hurt on GV Christian with a sharp  14-4 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Bobcats.
 Brooklyn Harland made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   three  hits. That's the fewest  earned runs  she has allowed since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing  Three bases. while going 3-for-4. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in March of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Kadee Harland was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Olivia Jessop, who  scored three  runs and  stole  Two bases. while going 3-for-4.
 Panguitch  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as GV Christian only posted  an  OBP of  .333.
 Meanwhile, Millard came up short against  Enterprise on Tuesday, falling  10-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Panguitch's record is now 2-0. As for Millard, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
 Panguitch might still be hurting after the  13-2 defeat they got from Millard  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024. Can Panguitch avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
