Volleyball Preview: Batesville Pioneers vs. Nettleton Raiders
Batesville is 8-2 against Nettleton since October of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Nettleton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-15, 25-19, 25-9.
Despite their loss, Nettleton saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kennedy Massey, who had eight digs and two aces, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaria Mcshan, who had 13 digs and three aces.
Batesville's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. As for Nettleton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15-1.
