Football Game Preview: Baldwinsville Bees vs. Liverpool Warriors

The Baldwinsville Bees will venture away from home to square off against the Liverpool Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Baldwinsville has struggled recently with seven losses in a row, while Liverpool will arrive with five straight wins.

On Friday, Baldwinsville came up short against Corning-Painted Post and fell 32-20. While losing is never fun, the Bees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Hawks are ranked 109th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liverpool). They really took it to Rome Free Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-7 victory. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won four contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

Baldwinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Liverpool, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Baldwinsville and Liverpool were almost perfectly matched up in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but Baldwinsville suffered an agonizing 27-26 loss. Can the Bees avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
