Volleyball Preview: North Callaway Thunderbirds vs. Eugene Eagles
It'll be Battle of the Birds when Thunderbirds challenges the Eugene Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. They took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on North Callaway, who comes in off a win.
Last Monday, North Callaway made easy work of Sunnydale Academy and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbirds.

Meanwhile, Eugene came up short against Linn on Tuesday and fell 3-1. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 25-21 in the first set.
Eugene started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-17, 25-16, 25-19.
The victory got North Callaway back to even at 11-11-2. As for Eugene, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12-1.
