Soccer Game Preview: Lindbergh vs. Principia

The Lindbergh Flyers will head out to face off against the Principia Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Lindbergh's victory against Webster Groves wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Flyers never let the Statesmen get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for Lindbergh in their matchups with Webster Groves: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Principia). They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Lutheran North on Friday. Considering Principia's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Lindbergh's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Principia, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
