There's no place like home for Evans, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Knights who were credited with the win on Friday. Given their advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while Lakeside are ranked 244th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Evans' victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Lakeside, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
