Basketball Recap: Rocky Bayou Christian Knights vs. Bozeman Bucks
The Rocky Bayou Christian Knights won the last time they faced the Bozeman Bucks, and things went their way on Friday too. Rocky Bayou Christian managed a 46-40 win over the Bucks.
Bozeman's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Skyler Scott, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Lillian Leonard, who scored 12 points.
Rocky Bayou Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Bozeman, they dropped their record down to 9-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Rocky Bayou Christian and the Bulldogs will face off on February 7th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Bozeman, they will square off against the Tigers at TBD on Monday. Malone is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
