Soccer Game Preview: Jackson vs. Cascade

The Jackson Timberwolves will venture away from home to face off against the Cascade Bruins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cascade took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Jackson, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Jackson got the win against Mariner by a conclusive 4-1. Considering Jackson have won five matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Cascade didn't have quite enough to beat Kamiak on Friday and fell 3-2.

Jackson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those eight contests. As for Cascade, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7-5.

Jackson was able to grind out a solid win over Cascade when the teams last played on April 1st, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
