Flag Football Game Preview: Monterey Dores vs. St. Francis Sharks

Monterey hasn't had much luck against St. Francis recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Dores will welcome the Sharks at 5:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Monterey came up short against Salinas and fell 21-14. While losing is never fun, the Dores can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while the Cowboys are ranked 97th).

Meanwhile, after soaring to 38 points the game before, St. Francis was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 26-8 to Palma.

Monterey now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Francis, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 14-3.
