Volleyball Recap: Western Triumphs

Western's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against Peebles by a score of 3-1. Western has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Peebles, too.

Western had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-22, 25-22, 25-15.

Addy Brewster paced Western's offense, picking up 21 kills. Brewster really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 16. Camilla Banfi controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

The victory got Western back to even at 1-1.

Western didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Green on the 21st. As for Peebles, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against West Union on the 21st.
