Basketball Game Preview: Seaforth Hawks vs. Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers

Seaforth has gone a perfect 8-0 against Bartlett Yancey recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Seaforth Hawks will look to defend their home court against the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. Seaforth is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season.

Last Wednesday, Seaforth was fully in charge, breezing past Graham 78-33. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Seaforth got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lucas Myers out in front who posted 12 points. Those 12 points gave Myers a new career-high. Noah Lewis was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Seaforth was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Bartlett Yancey was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 48-44 to Cummings. The Buccaneers haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Seaforth now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Bartlett Yancey, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.

Seaforth beat Bartlett Yancey 51-40 when the teams last played back in January. Will Seaforth repeat their success, or does Bartlett Yancey have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
