Recap: St. Joseph Knights vs. Central Grizzlies

St. Joseph can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Central Grizzlies as the St. Joseph Knights made off with a 7-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Joseph.

St. Joseph got a big performance out of Niko Peinado, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Aj Stollberg, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

On Central's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt Cervantes, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

St. Joseph pushed their record up to 5-5 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

St. Joseph will head out on the road to square off against San Luis Obispo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (St. Joseph: 3.2, San Luis Obispo: 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Central, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oakmont at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th.
