On Central's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt Cervantes, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
St. Joseph pushed their record up to 5-5 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
St. Joseph will head out on the road to square off against San Luis Obispo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
