Baseball Game Preview: Skyview Storm vs. Union Titans

For the second straight game, Skyview will face off against Union. The Storm will host the Titans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Skyview 3.1, Union 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Skyview fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Union on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2. The Storm's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

For Union's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Christian, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.

Union is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Skyview, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
