Baseball Recap: Perry Commodores vs. Jefferson Wildcats

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Jefferson Wildcats, falling 13-6.

Wyatt Taviano made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Sucarious Doughty was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Jefferson, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-15 record this season.
