Volleyball Recap: Forge Christian Has No Trouble Against Arrupe Jesuit

Forge Christian's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Arrupe Jesuit Generals with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Wednesday.

Forge Christian was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 25-18.

Dennis Blinov paced Forge Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Blinov got some help from Seth Davies and his 18 assists. Blinov was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Forge Christian's record now sits at 6-14. As for Arrupe Jesuit, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Forge Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Stargate School on the 25th. As for Arrupe Jesuit, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Denver West on the 26th.
