Rowlett is 2-8 against Sachse since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Eagles will welcome the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, Rowlett got the win against North Garland by a conclusive 26-2. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.
Jordynn Williams was a standout: she fired off two home runs, six RBI, and four runs while going 4-for-5. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Julissa Casta?eda was another key player, going a perfect 5-for-5 with four runs, five RBI, and three doubles.
Rowlett always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .737. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Garland only posted an OBP of .429.
Meanwhile, Sachse put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Naaman Forest a 19-0 shutout.
Maya McClarity made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. McClarity was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. She has been hot, having posted three or more hits the last five times she's played.
In other batting news, Sachse got a massive performance out of Xochitl Mendoza, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendyl Cruz, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Sachse pushed their record up to 9-14-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.3 runs over those games. As for Rowlett, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Rowlett hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .482. However, it's not like Sachse struggles in that department as they've averaged .399. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
