Softball Recap: Corona del Mar Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Corona del Mar's offense. They came up short against the Fountain Valley Barons on Tuesday, falling 14-0. The Sea Kings were not able to make up for their loss to the Barons from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Corona del Mar saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kiera Madan, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Corona del Mar has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Fountain Valley, their record is now 11-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corona del Mar will square off against Estancia at 3:15 p.m. on the 16th. As for Fountain Valley, they will face off against Los Alamitos at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
