Baseball Recap: George Rogers Clark Takes a Loss

George Rogers Clark fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Lexington Christian on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 7-6. The Cardinals' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

George Rogers Clark got a good showing from Luke Fugate, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Fugate hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April.
