Soccer Game Preview: Fayette Academy vs. Gibson County

The Fayette Academy Vikings will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Gibson County Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Fayette Academy fell victim to Tipton-Rosemark Academy and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Rebels, falling 9-0. Fayette Academy haven't had much luck with Tipton-Rosemark Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Gibson County was forced to settle for a draw. They and Fayette Ware finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Monday.

Fayette Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. Gibson County's draw gives them a new season record of 3-2-1.
