Soccer Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

After flying high against Darlington last Saturday, Georgetown came back down to earth. The Georgetown Bulldogs fell just short of the Socastee Braves by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Braves: they've now lost three in a row.

Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Socastee, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will challenge Dillon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give Georgetown their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Socastee, they will square off against Nation Ford at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
