Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Cupertino's 17th in Last 20 Outings + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cupertino walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Evergreen Valley Cougars on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win. For the Pioneers, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Cupertino walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-20.

Cupertino found their leader in sophomore Natalie Baker, who had 20 digs and two aces. Baker is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Cupertino has been performing well recently as they've won 17 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season. As for Evergreen Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-14.

Looking ahead, Cupertino will square off against Milpitas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evergreen Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
