Basketball Recap: Byrd Comes Up Short

Byrd lost to Minden back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Yellow Jackets took a 39-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crimson Tide.

Byrd's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Minden, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Byrd will face off against Stanley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Minden, they will venture away from home to challenge Booker T. Washington-Shreveport at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
