Basketball Recap: Soledad Takes a Loss

Soledad's tournament run continued when they took on Kalaheo on Saturday. The Soledad Aztecs were beaten by the Kalaheo Mustangs 55-22. The matchup marked the Aztecs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Soledad lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Pedro Morales Jr, who posted seven points. Another player making a difference was Pablo Morales IV, who earned nine points.

Soledad now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Kalaheo, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Soledad will host Anzar at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Kalaheo and Kaiser will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on December 23rd. Kaiser will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Kalaheo surely won't give up without a fight.
