Imlay City won the last time they faced Almont and things went their way on Friday too. The Imlay City Spartans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Almont Raiders 58-30. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Raiders are ranked 440th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Imlay City has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Almont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
