Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wellington walked away with it. They won by a run and slipped past the Palm Beach Central Broncos 4-3. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 10-0 win last Monday.

Wellington's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cristian Goncalves, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Wellington's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Palm Beach Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-9.

Looking ahead, Wellington will square off against Jupiter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Wolverines surely won't give up without a fight. Palm Beach Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
