Soccer Recap: Bakersfield Christian Takes a Loss

Bakersfield Christian was the 1-0 winner over North when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bakersfield Christian Eagles fell just short of the North Stars by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The defeat leaves the Eagles without a win on the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Rhett Pelaez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Bakersfield Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Bakersfield Christian didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against Kern Valley on the 13th. North has also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Taft on the 13th.
