Baseball Game Preview: Grosse Pointe North Norsemen vs. Romeo Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Grosse Pointe North will face off against Romeo. The Norsemen will square off against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Romeo hit Grosse Pointe North with a seven-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Norsemen came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 12-2. The Norsemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacob Jarackas was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Romeo, bringing their record up to 21-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Grosse Pointe North, their loss dropped their record down to 8-26-1.
