Basketball Recap: Old Orchard Beach Comes Up Short

Old Orchard Beach was the 62-57 winner over Poland when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Old Orchard Beach Seagulls received a blow on Wednesday as they fell 54-40 to the Poland Knights.

Old Orchard Beach has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Poland, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

While Old Orchard Beach had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
