Softball Recap: Becton's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Monday just wasn't the day for Becton's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Hasbrouck Heights Aviators on Monday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Becton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nina Buda, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Becton fell to 3-1-1. As for Hasbrouck Heights, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

The future could be bright for both Becton and Hasbrouck Heights: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Wildcats will try to hand Lodi their sixth-straight defeat when the two meet at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hasbrouck Heights will look to extend Eastside's five-game losing streak when they meet at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
