Basketball Recap: Arcadia Beats Douglas for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Arcadia waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took down the Douglas Bulldogs 62-45. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Douglas lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ryan Felix, who shot 46% from the field on his way to 17 points and three blocks. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.5% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Lopez, who posted 16 points and six boards.

Arcadia's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Douglas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Arcadia will challenge Prescott at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Titans' defense better be ready for this one: the Badgers have averaged an impressive 53.2 points per game this season. As for Douglas, they will take on Valley Union in a tournament on Thursday.
