Volleyball Recap: Random Lake Takes a Loss

If Random Lake was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lomira on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams fell just short of the Horicon Marshmen by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Micayla Keller paced Random Lake's offense, picking up 12 kills. Keller got some help from Jemma Schwab and her 22 assists. Alivia Stefanich and McKenzie Nejedlo kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Random Lake's loss dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Horicon, their win bumped their record up to 13-16.

Random Lake has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Markesan on the 16th. As for Horicon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Winnebago Lutheran Academy on the 21st.
