Softball Recap: Buffalo Grove Bison vs. Hoffman Estates Hawks
Buffalo Grove barely beat Hoffman Estates the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bison put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 13-0 win on Wednesday. That 13 run margin sets a new team best for the Bison this season.
Brooklyn Edler made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
