Volleyball Recap: High Tech SD Storm vs. Lincoln Hornets
After flying high against Clairemont last Tuesday, High Tech SD came back down to earth. The High Tech SD Storm took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Hornets on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Storm of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on October 8th.
High Tech SD came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 26-24, 21-25, 25-23.
Lincoln can attribute much of their success to Isabela Porfirio, who had 20 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Porfirio has posted since back in September.
High Tech SD's defeat dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Lincoln, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-7.
As of now, neither High Tech SD nor Lincoln have any future games scheduled.
