Basketball Recap: Quanah Comes Up Short

Quanah lost against Ropes back in December of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Quanah Indians fell to the Ropes Eagles 59-54. While the Indians didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 22-18 in the first quarter.

Quanah's defeat dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Ropes, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Quanah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ropes, they are taking a road trip to face off against Wink at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
