Basketball Recap: Ashlee Baker Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Borden

Franklin Central won the last time they faced Borden and things went their way on Friday too. The Franklin Central Flashes came out on top against the Borden Braves by a score of 48-35.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Franklin Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ashlee Baker, who posted 12 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Payton Duvall, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 14 rebounds.

Franklin Central's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Borden, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3-1.

Franklin Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-22 win against Eastern on the 27th. As for Borden, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 59-51 defeat against Seymour on the 28th.
