Softball Preview: Cannon County Lions vs. Forrest Rockets
The Cannon County Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Forrest Rockets at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Cannon County sitting on three straight victories and Forrest on five.

Alyssa Calamia was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Mylee Schwartz, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, Forrest had just enough and edged Community out 6-5 on Tuesday.
Cannon County's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Forrest, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
