Softball Recap: Lincoln Wins Going Away Against Sand Rock

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cherokee County, Lincoln was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Sand Rock Wildcats. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Golden Bears' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 17-11-1. As for Sand Rock, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-1 win against Appalachian on the 5th. As for Sand Rock, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-3 victory against Gadsden City on the 5th.
