Basketball Recap: Caverna Comes Up Short

Caverna lost against Green County back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Caverna Colonels took a 64-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green County Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Colonels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Dragons are ranked 20th).

Caverna's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Green County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Caverna nor Green County have any future games scheduled.
