Baseball Recap: Nickerson Comes Up Short

Nickerson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Haven Wildcats, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Nickerson's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Haven, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nickerson will host Kingman on Monday. As for Haven, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Trinity Academy. The Knights will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
