Basketball Game Preview: West 50th Street Seahawks vs. Randolph Campus Cougars

The West 50th Street Seahawks are taking a road trip to take on the Randolph Campus Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

West 50th Street played against Bergtraum and lost via forfeit.

Randolph Campus is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Saturday. They were outmatched by Bergtraum and fell 89-10. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 383rd, while the Blazers are ranked 128th).

With the defeat, West 50th Street broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2. As for Randolph Campus, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything came up roses for West 50th Street against Randolph Campus when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 55-13 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for West 50th Street since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
