Baseball Recap: Unionville Takes a Loss

Unionville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Henderson Warriors. The Longhorns were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Unionville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Indy Riggs, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Unionville's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Henderson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Unionville and Henderson will both be playing Great Valley the next time they take the field. The Warriors will host the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Longhorns will head out to face them at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
